Nicholas focuses his practice on construction law, general commercial litigation, contract disputes, insurance defense/coverage, and tort liability defense. He regularly represents construction companies of all sizes, governmental agencies, sureties, insurers, and owners.
While in law school, Nicholas interned for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York in Buffalo, New York. Throughout these experiences, Nicholas conducted legal research and prepared memoranda with respect to various organized crime, narcotics, and civil forfeiture issues. Nicholas also observed various court proceedings and witness preparation for grand jury trials.
As a second-year, Nicholas summered at Wilson & Chan, LLP where he conducted legal research and prepared memoranda on various commercial litigation issues. Throughout these experiences, Nicholas developed a foundation for commercial litigation and the tools needed to be an effective litigator.
At Wilson & Chan, LLP, Nicholas regularly engages in all aspects of litigation from initial case analysis and reporting, evaluation of alleged damages (or injuries), preparation of pleadings, discovery, court appearances, motion practice, depositions, and mediation, to trial preparation. Nicholas has continuously proven himself to be a competent and effective litigator throughout his work with Wilson & Chan, LLP.
Nicholas earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, and his B.A. in political science from the University of Alabama.
