Gina focuses her legal practice in the areas of general liability defense litigation where she skillfully navigates the complexities of the legal landscape, crafting formidable defenses to shield her clients from legal challenges. Gina regularly engages in all aspects of litigation from initial case analysis and reporting, evaluation of alleged damages (or injuries), 50-H hearings, sustainable verdicts in the designated jurisdiction, preparation of pleadings, discovery, court appearances, motion practice, depositions, temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions and injunctive relief, designation of expert witness, witness preparation, to trial preparation leading up to and including trial. Gina is experienced in negotiation settlements in various alternative dispute resolution forums including mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.

Prior to joining Wilson & Chan, Gina was an Associate for a mid-size law firm representing commercial lenders in commercial real estate transactions. She prepared and drafted loan documents including notes, mortgages, guarantees, environmental indemnity agreements and reserve account and pledge agreements. Gina prepared for her legal career through various experiences, including the Tenant’s Rights and Advocacy Clinic and Consumer Justice for the Elderly.

Gina earned her Juris Doctor from the St. John’s University School of Law where she was the recipient of the Academic Merit Scholarship and Public Service Award. Gina earned her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in corporate communications from Baruch College.
