Gabrielle earned her Juris Doctor from The University of Oklahoma College of Law where she was a recipient of an academic scholarship. During her time in law school, Gabrielle was a member of the American Indian Law Review, serving as the Executive Editor in her third year. Her Comment, The Winding Trail: A Look at Non-Linear Temporality in Literary Works in Response to the Issue of Sovereignty, is published with the journal. Gabrielle prepared for her legal career as an extern for Chief Judge Swinton at the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals and working on pro bono assignments for the ACLU of Oklahoma.

Gabrielle graduated from The Johns Hopkins University with majors in English Literature and Writing Seminars. During her undergraduate studies, Gabrielle served as the Writing Seminars Student Advisory Board Co-Chair and Hopkins Figure Skating Club President.
